Installed this in 2010 GMC Sierra with Bose sound, onstar, bluetooth, XM, rear view mirror camera. One tip is to read other reviewers comments before starting. Also, go to the SimpleSoft website and read the forums (click on contact us and look for link to forums). The manual you download is useless, but this unit is simple to figure out. Get the USB adapter or you won't be able to use the USB( USB male to 5-pin mini B female). You will have to splice into your rear view camera wires and run them into a RCA plug. You can tap into the Blue and White wires located down next to the driver side kick plate or up at the rear view mirror (pin 6 and pin 7). Both rear view mirror and nav unit will show camera picture if done correctly. Be sure to turn the amp on in setup (only if you have Bose speakers) the first time you start it up and then shut off, take key out, open door and then restart. Don't bother with bluetooth if you have factory in your vehicle as it is better and retains steering wheel controls. Other than splicing in the camera, it is truly plug and play. Just stick the GPS antenna to the top of the radio and it works fine. IPod works great as does XM. Retains all chimes, etc. although parking sensor chime is a bit slow to respond. Unit does take about 30 seconds to fully boot up including NAV, but that isn't an issue for me. Overall, you can't go wrong with this unit; especially comparing it to the factory nav unit at $1,500. It does what it says it does. By the way, the DVD quality is very good.

just installed this baby in my 2007 GMC Sierra and the plug and play is AMAZING!!! does everything that the factory radio used to do like the reverse sensors still work through my speaker system and back up camera. volume controls on my steering wheel work just fine. the navigation option is GREAT. currently i do not pay for the navigation option on my onstar account so the built in navigation maps makes me not even consider paying an additional $20/month just to use the navigation through onstar about once or twice a year (on vacation trips). this is an AWESOME stereo and VERY CHEAP compared to similar stereos at your local car entertainment store.
11/6/12: added the "but wait....theres more" to the title of this review because there is more that i HAD TO ADD. after finding out that this stereo DOES NOT HAVE A BUILT IN CD CHANGER, i have to downgrade my 5 stars to only 2. the DVD and navigation are great options, but not having a built in cd changer really sucks. ESPECIALLY when it does give you an option for a cd changer. every cd (audio only) will play under DVD even if i switch it to the CDC (cd changer) option. i have contacted the seller and according to them, this is normal and that the only way the cd changer option works is with the factory cd changer. well guess what?!! my factory stereo on my 2007 GMC Sierra had the cd changer BUILT IN so there is no way i will be able to get my cd changer option back. this is very frustrating!!! having to eject a cd in order to view a movie or vise versa is annoying. why can't i just stop playing a cd, select another disc (whether cd or dvd), and play it without having to eject a disc everytime?!! i would recommend this stereo ONLY for the DVD and navigation option, but i DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND it if you are looking for cd changer capabilities!!!
11/21/12: this will be my last update on this product. i have upgraded my 2 stars to 4 because it actually is a very good product. i was being too picky on the cd changer thing because my original stock radio did have a cd changer built in and going from a cd changer to a 1 disc player is a BIG change. this radio does what it says it will do. haven't had any problems with it. does take a little more time to power up vs the original stock radio, but i'm assuming it's because of all the info it must have stored in order to operate properly. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I researched a replacement radio for my 2011 GMC Sierra and wanted to upgrade to an all in one unit. I wanted BlueTooth, GPS, DVD, and still have the OEM steering equipment and controls work. I looked for several weeks and checked with local dealers then, I cam across this unit. I was hesitant to order since I had never heard of this brand or knew anyone that has owned one. After reading the great reviews on the other vehicle units this company sales, I took the leap. The unit is AMAZING! It is so simple to install and actually is just PLUG N PLAY. ALL of my factory OEM controls work exactly the same, the GPS is spot on with location and directions and has MILLIONS of POI's. The DVD player has great quality and is very useful on road trips. The sound output is great and works well with my after market subs. I can not say enough about this item. I have had it for two weeks now and just added a backup cam to my truck and the picture is GREAT day and night! If you do encounter any issues or have questions, the customer service responds very quickly and gives you access to their forum. I have done the research, tried the product, and APPROVE 100%. To top it all off, the unit looks better than the OEM that GMC offers for $1,499.
